This type of assessment is tailored and can include IQ testing, achievement testing, parent and teacher rating scales, and other questionnaires.

Please contact your insurer to obtain specific information regarding authorization for psychological testing.

  • School Consultation

Observing a child in the school setting can be helpful in the assessment process, especially if the majority of the behavioral/emotional difficulties are occurring in that setting. If you are interested in this service, this should be done before I meet your child in my office. Parental permission and school consent is necessary before proceeding.

School consultation with staff can be beneficial in helping school staff better understand the special needs of your child. This type of meeting can also be helpful to help the staff formulate a plan for managing your child's difficulties in the school setting.

Note: Insurance companies do not cover this service. This is an out-of-pocket cost.
